Learn How to Paint Fast

                Learning how to paint does not have to be hard. Painting is an activity in which one can express freely. There is not that much too learning painting art if you look at it that way. But there are certain techniques you can learn that will improve the range of paintings you can create. For example learning how to oil paint can be very useful, or learning how to sketch, basic composition, shading and learning about which colors complement each other can provide you with the skill you need to fill the paper with whatever it is you want.

                Learning painting art should start with the basics. If you have no clue about painting, a good place to start is by reading a book on composition, sketching and how to illustrate shapes. There are many books on these subjects that feature illustrations and practical lessons. When you have a deeper understanding of these concepts you will see that your skill will improve dramatically. Painting, just like any other activity, requires a solid theoretic understanding before anything else. Your style and skill will improve much faster when you don’t have to reinvent the wheel with each painting you make.

                After you have a good grasp of the basics, learning painting art reaches a new stage. Now you can start learning more advanced techniques like oil painting, shading and advanced composition. These concepts will require a little more time to put in practice, but they will be well worth it.

                But the best way to improve fast is by taking up a class. Having someone personally explaining the concepts, and what you are doing right or what you are doing wrong is tremendously helpful. This does not mean that it is absolutely necessary. It’s still a matter of choice, because only you know what works for you.
