What is a Garden Membrane

Winter is coming. And not just in the hit TV show A Game of Thrones. It comes every year and it is something that can be quite damaging to you garden. But gardeners have found a way of protecting their pride and joy by using a garden membrane. They are fabrics that are specifically designed to protect the garden from weather, cold and other elements that might harm the plants in your garden. They also allow air and moisture to pass through them ensuring that your beloved plants and hard work lead an easy life through the winter.
Another type of garden membrane is the weed control fabric. This is a large black fabric surface, in which you make wholes for your plants to grow out off and you place it on your garden. It lets water and nutrients go through so your plants won’t die, but it kills off unwanted weed. This is an extremely helpful alternative to herbicides and removing the weed by hand. Using a weed control fabric means that you get organic vegetables without the hassle of actually hoeing. It can also be used under bark, decorative gravel, patios and driveways.
